Live Science Shows with Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson has been bringing science to life on stage for over a decade. Best known from BBC’s Stargazing Live and The One Show, he tours UK theatres with live shows that are fast, funny and packed with real experiments – fire, foam, flying objects and the occasional very loud bang.

The Spectacular Science Show is the award-winning family show, crowned Best Kids’ Show at the Edinburgh Fringe 2019 and now in its tenth touring year. Every experiment comes with real science behind it, there are plenty of chances for the audience to get involved, and grown-ups tend to leave with as many questions as the kids.

Science After Dark is something new: a show for adults (15+) that starts with the experiments you’d expect, then takes a turn into the darker, stranger and sometimes downright horrifying true stories of science. Same curiosity, rather different bedtime stories.
